Donates to RMHC

Brenda Kyzer, Tournament Chairperson, presents a check to Ann Akerman, RMHC Executive Director, in the amount of $1,105.27.

S.C. Racquetball Player's Association donated proceeds from tournament to the Columbia Ronald McDonald House in November, 2006.  Each year the organization hosts a racquetball tournament in memory or their dear friend,Woody Newton. Since the first tournament in 2003, the Association has raised more than $5,000 to benefit the children and families who come to stay at the Ronald McDonald House.  This year's tournament raised more than $1,100.00. 

Select Comfort Donates 8 New "Sleep Number" Beds to Ronald McDonald House

Select Comfort donated 8 new queen size Sleep Number Beds valued at over $10,000 to the Columbia Ronald McDonald House—the families staying with us will definitely sleep well.  With the addition of 8 new Sleep Number Beds donated by Select Comfort, the families are certain to have the highest quality of comfort and care during their stay.  On October 19th, a crew from the Select Comfort Irmo Plant—Ron McCoy, Plant Manager, and other Select Comfort's Management Team including Mark Burris, Quality Engineer; Lora Dyal and Pat Young installed the beds on October 19.
