What is media-match?

media-match is an online database of over 30,000 Film and TV professionals' resumes and availability, and an up to date jobs board for new openings in the TV and Film production business across the United States. Owing to media-match's unique cross-referenced matching and searching facility, entertainment industry freelancers are alerted to new TV jobs and Film jobs which match their skill set as soon as they are posted on the site. Employers search the media-match resume database directly. It is principally as a consequence of this high-quality matching that the site has already become a standard among TV and Film production companies and broadcasters in the USA.

Unlike traditional sites media-match allows employers to set their own search criteria, using a combination of job type, program type, speciality, credits, experience and location. Allowing them to target the right freelancer within a matter of seconds.

Why use media-match?

The growth of media-match over the last seven years can be credited to the ease and efficiency with which employers and freelancers can interact with our service, and can quickly and easily find the perfect TV job, film job or suitable role within the entertainment industry. Freelancers no longer need to mass mail their resume to every production company on the off chance it lands on the right desk, and production companies have instant online access to a virtual filing cabinet of up to date professional crew resumes and availability.

Can media-match help in my search for a job in the TV industry?

Online recruitment advertising is undergoing an explosion, and the TV and Film industry is no exception. By registering with media-match (which is FREE for the basic package) you are taking a step in the right direction and taking part in the modern process of searching and recruiting for jobs. Media-Match supplies you with an instantly viewable online presence offering much more than a traditional resume: upload reel and audio samples of your work, attach text documents and photographs. All this, smartly presented and displayed in one place, accessible on the internet from anywhere. Savvy employers save time, energy and effort using the internet to recruit, so yes - media-match can help.

Whilst we make every effort to encourage the employers who post their TV and Film jobs on media-match to contact and feed back to applicants from our site, we cannot guarantee that they will do so. We also cannot guarantee that you will find work through media-match. We simply provide the tools for you to sell yourself and be seen.
